Marshalls Department Store Partners With SingleMomz Magazines: 2004 Single Mom Of The Year Award

A shopping spree is awarded to the honorary single mother of 2004. SingleMomz Magazine and Marshall's department store have partnered.

Who qualifies as the proud recipient of the award? This single mom has to be loving, nurturing and a do-it-aller for her kids. This award seeks to celebrate all that she is and does, and SM wants to honor her!", explains Feona Sharharn Huff publisher of the quarterly magazine. The winner of the 2004 Single Mom of the Year Award will win a one-year subscription to SM plus a shopping spree with Marshalls department store.

In an effort to salute all single mothers who are doing it on their own, Feona Sharhran Huff founded SingleMomz Magazine in 2000 in the hopes of providing support and encouragement. I was resolute in producing a magazine that would be established as a necessary resource that single moms can call their own, especially when overwhelmed and unsure. Single moms are the most triumphant, courageous, hardworking, nurturing, and giving individuals and we need to give tribute to who they are", says Feona

The submission deadline is January 15, 2004. The winner will be announced in the Spring 2004 issue of SM. To submit an entry, you have to know a single mom who fits the criteria and be able to tell us about her in 300 words typed. You must also submit a photo of your candidate with her name.
