The Rosella Griffin Inner-City Scholarship -
PUBLIC HOUSING SCHOLARSHIP FIRST OF IT'S KIND IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE.
Mrs. Rosella Griffin (Moms)
A resident of Public Housing for over 40 years, Mrs. Griffin has, for years, been a proponent and local lobbyist for the public housing community as well as in the areas of civil rights, voter empowerment and a better quality of life for the community in which she serves. Mrs. Griffins lifelong fight has been and still is on the behalf of the communitys children. From awards from elected officials to trips to Washington D.C., Mrs. Griffin has kept her focus on abolishing the stereotypes associated with living in public housing. Lets put the spotlight on the children and the education they deserve as well as promoting their right to become whatever they want to be in life.
