The European Prescriber Guide system is continuing development of it's online search tools, designed to compliment the already succesful PC based EPG software. In addition to the UK drug database the web version of the system now includes Spanish content and search tools by keyword, either drug name or indication.

The European Prescriber Guide or EPG System is a dedicated software and online service designed for the bespoke delivery of prescription drug information to doctors. The EPG is designed for use as a 'business tool' by healthcare professionals, principally 'Family' or 'General' Practitioners, Hospital Doctors and Specialists. Designed to enable greater expediency during diagnosis & prescription, the system allows doctors to quickly identify the most suitable drug or drugs for their patient. The system can be searched for drugs or drug information by Brand, Scientific or Generic name as well as indication.

The EPG installs to any PC based system, including networks. EPG is comprised of a straightforward interface with a detailed and searchable database. As well as information about current prescription drugs the system also contains guides to diagnosis and patient management along with detailed reviews of some of the most commonly prescribed medicines.

The system tailors content to the user based upon the varying EU legislative and licensing regulations. Each user may therefore access drug information not only in their own local language but also complete with their own national labeling.
