Notes for Journalists:
(1) Paula Sigley.
Paula has no formal arts training yet in recent years has made her own unique mark in the art world. With her moving portraits, provocative sculptures and risqué film productions Paula has forged her own unforgettable niche in the consciousness of countless art critics, media organisations and the public at large.
Be it City galleries, collaborations with legendary punk bands or headline grabbing squatted exhibitions Paula is consistently courting controversy and respect.
She has appeared on CNN, ITV network and countless newspaper and on-line features. She has refused offers in excess of 5000 for her pieces of art that are simply not for sale. This year the Brighton Fringe Festival invited Paula to co-ordinate its long running arts trail.
The Arts Fair celebrates the art trail and is a chance for the people of her adopted home city to view her work in an atmospheric yet intimate setting.
Paula Sigley is available for commission, exhibitions and art co-ordination through her Fishy Eye Art Studio.
