CARQUEST Distribution Center chose Applied Media Technologies Corp. to provide On-Hold Messaging.
CLEARWATER, FL / May 16, 2003: San Antonio, TX-based Straus-Frank Co., a CARQUEST Distribution Center, has recommended a TELADVANTAGE message on hold solution from Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC) to its 122 company-owned and 237 independently-owned stores. Straus-Frank selected AMTCs iQueue digital player as the recommended player. The iQueue connects to store telephone systems and has no moving parts, playing music and messages from a removable flash memory stick.
Chesney Thomas, Straus-Franks marketing manager, said "AMTC was already working with other parts of the CARQUEST organization, so we felt comfortable that they could do a good job for us. Our stores find it appealing to be able to get messages on hold with no ongoing monthly or annual fees."
