Oklahoma City bombing Living Memorial elm trees

Trees grown from seeds of the elm on the grounds of the Oklahoma City bombing are now available to the public. The 4'to 5' tall saplings of the American elm can be purchased at Britton Feed and Seed, located at 708 W. Britton Road in Oklahoma City.

The American elm located on the site of the Oklahoma City bombing has come to symbolize resurgent life amidst vast death and destruction. Though only yards away from the truck bomb which destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, the elm survived the initial blast. Today, it is strong, healthy and flourishing.
Seeds collected below the elm were planted in April 2000. The trees were grown in central Oklahoma and are now large enough to place in the landscape.
The trees can be purchased at Britton Feed and Seed at 708 W. Britton Road in Oklahoma City for $25.00 each. A 10% donation of each sale will be given to educational funding for those affected by the bombing. For those individuals who were injured, or others who lost an immediate family member in the blast, the price will remain $25.00, however, 50% of those sales will be donated.
