DEMONSTRATION TO BE HELD IN LANSING, MICHIGAN

Celebration of fatherhood and equal rights for fathers.

The Million Dads March will be held locally at the capitol building in Lansing on June 7, 8, and again on Fathers Day from 6am to 6pm.

The purpose of the Million Dads March is 3-fold:

1) Design an event platform that encourages cooperation between every group in the movement, including other similar groups, such as children's and grandparent's rights groups. Plus encouraging the "Responsible Fathering" groups and the "Fathers' Rights" groups to at least agree that we both support fatherhood.

2) Encourage everyone involved in the Fatherhood Movement, whether directly or indirectly, to take a more active involvement. Stand up for fathers!

3) Gain as much attention for fathering issues as possible. In the media, publicly, whatever. We want fatherhood on everybody's mind for as long as possible. The more attention we get this Fathers' Day, the easier it will be for local groups to set up Men's Commissions in each state, the more father-friendly laws will be passed, etc.

The Million Dads March is not the culmination of the Fathers' Movement. It is a new beginning for us. An era of cooperation towards common goals. A time when we work together to see that fatherhood does not become extinct.

We are also working with other organizations which have rallies or protests scheduled in favor of fatherhood. For example, NCFM-LA is having a rally on June 10 in LA, an NCFC event in Pittsburg on Fathers' Day weekend, and I'm sure ACFC will have an event also. We hope to work with these organizations in order to maximise attendance and coverage for all three events.

Our movement has three great enemies: 1) The Divorce Industry, 2) Militant Feminists, and 3) Ourselves. The divorce industry and militant feminists have an interest in destroying us and our children. However, our own idleness and infighting harm us far more than our external enemies! Think of the effects we can have on the day that ACFC and NCFC, NCFM and Children's Rights Council, Fathers' Rights and Responsible Fathers can all stand together, and pledge their support for FATHERS!

Every organization and individual who supports fatherhood is invited and encouraged to attend! Each group may plan their own protest and participation, as well as work with other organizations towards similar goals. Cooperation and Unity are the key our success as a civil movement. Without respect and cooperation we cannot hope to succeed!
