OVER 1 MILLION SERVED; The Boogie Men Begin Countdown to 1 Millionth Listener
Wisconsin's Disco favorites, The Boogie Men, begin countdown for 1 Millionth Listener.
Pewaukee, WI...Judging by the number of centennial celebrations this year, one cant help but wonder if modern civilization didnt really begin until 1903. Move over Harley-Davidson, Ford Motor Co. and Rockwell Atomation, 2003 is really the year of Milwaukees perennial Disco favorites, The Boogie Men.
Thats right, by the end of this summer The Boogie Men calculate that they will have reached 1 Million people via their energetic stage performances, righteous radio commentaries, sales of two smokin CDs -- 1998s Super Party" and 2003s A Thing of Bootie" -- and various other, often unmentionable, antics.
Who will be the elusive 1 Millionth person? The hunt is on," said Dr. Detroit Goldenstone, lead singer of The Boogie Men. Our fans have been loyal since the beginning and we look forward to honoring one of them as only The Boogie Men can."
Details are tightly guarded, but Dr. Detroit and pals have alluded that being named The Boogie Mens 1 Millionth viewer will be no small feat.
Its safe to say that this monumental moment in our careers will not be forgotten soon," said Goldenstone. If you know anything about The Boogie Men, forget it. You cannot even begin to imagine what he have planned for this person."
