ADB and AUNA Telecomunicaciones Sign 2003-2004 Set-top Box Supplier Agreement

Advanced Digital Broadcast is providing Spains Auna tlc with set-top boxes during 2003 and 2004.

May 21, 2003 ?Geneva: Advanced Digital Broadcast (www.adbglobal.com) has signed a Supplier Agreement to provide cable digital TV set-top boxes to AUNA Telecomunicaciones (tlc) (www.auna.es) during 2003 and 2004.

AUNA tlc provides direct and indirect access telecommunication services throughout Spain. The group offers broadband Internet, television and fixed telephony integrated services, and was the countrys first operator to launch cable digital interactive TV services. Over and above its basic package, AUNA also offers its subscribers further interactive services at a fixed monthly rate.

ADB will provide AUNA tlc with its ABQ-1H4G, DVB and MPEG-compliant cable decoder incorporating ST Microelectronics?STi5516 multimedia processor. The ADB ABQ-1H4G cable decoder supports NDS conditional access and incorporates software based on OpenTV middleware.

The new set top box will allow Auna to offer their subscribers the digital TV interactive experience at a very competitive price.
