Senior Executives Association Picks New Signature to Build Community Website for Government Executives

Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 23, 2003 - The Senior Executives Association (SEA), an association that represents career federal executives, has hired New Signature to develop and implement an innovative website that will provide constituents and the general public with a valuable range of online services.

New Signatures proposal was unique, cost-effective, and represented the end-to-end solution that we need," said SEA President, Carol Bonosaro. Combined with their history of high client satisfaction and record of success in delivering sophisticated websites, our decision to hire New Signature was easy."

New Signature plans to implement new functionality, including: e-commerce components, threaded discussion forum, on-line polling system and improved search functionality. One of SEAs primary goals of upgrading their existing website was to make it easier to internally maintain and update the site. New Signature is addressing this need by integrating a full-featured and flexible content management system.

After listening to the SEAs needs and discussing the options with them, we decided that an open source solution was the best choice for providing the functionality they required. The benefits of a lower acquisition and development cost, faster time-to-market and better performance on similarly configured hardware were some of the benefits of that led us to recommend the Linux, MySQL and PHP based solution that we are planning to implement for the SEA," said New Signature principal, Christopher Hertz.
