Apollo 11 astronaut press conference Wednesday on USS Hornet - 22nd Annual Int'l Space Development Conference May 23-26 San Jose, CA

Media Advisory: Apollo 11 moonwalker, retired Air Force Colonel and NSS governor Buzz Aldrin will be at the USS Hornet Museum (Pier 3, Alameda Point) on Wednesday, May 21 at approximately 1:00 p.m., and will be available for questions and answers with the press. He will be joining the 22nd Annual International Space Development Conference attendees at 2:00 p.m. for a tour of the aircraft carrier that served as the prime recovery ship for the Apollo 11 lunar mission that landed the first Americans on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Tour dates and times for the Chabot Science Center (May 22) and NASA/Ames Research Center (May 23) are still as listed.
