Three executives have been named to new senior management positions at TI Automotive as part of a re-organization of the companys global business operations, according to Bill Laule, the companys CEO.

TI AUTOMOTIVE STREAMLINES MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION


   WARREN, Mich. -- Three executives have been named to new senior management positions at TI Automotive as part of a re-organization of the companys global business operations, according to Bill Laule, the companys CEO.

   TI Automotive, the worlds leading supplier of fluid storage, transfer and delivery systems, has restructured its global business into three major groups -- Global Fuel Systems, Global Fluid Carrying Systems and the Industrial Group.

   Named to head TI Automotives new global organizations were:

·   Howard Duxbury, president -- Global Fuel Systems. Formerly managing director of TI Automotives International Group, Duxbury will be responsible for the design, development, manufacture and sales of fuel delivery components and systems. He is headquartered in Oxford, U.K.

·   Rich Kolpasky, president -- Global Fluid Carrying Systems. Kolpasky had been president, North America. He will manage the companys brake & fuel-lines, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning business units from its global headquarters in Warren, Michigan.

·   Stephen Dow, managing director -- Industrial Group. Previously vice president and general manager of VARI-FORM, Dow will be based in Warren, where he will direct the operations of Bundy Refrigeration, Walbro Engine Management and VARI-FORM.

    Integrating our regional business operations into a more globally-focused enterprise will allow us to improve operational efficiencies and customer service, further reduce fixed costs and eliminate resource duplication throughout our global organization," Laule said.

   He noted that TI Automotives leadership in the fuel systems business is linked to the companys aggressive research and development efforts at technology centers in Rastatt, Germany; Châlons-en-Champagne, France, and Auburn Hills and Caro, Michigan, U.S. Manouchehr Kambakhsh will continue as vice president for advanced engineering of global fuel systems with offices in Rastatt and Auburn Hills.

   In the past two years, TI Automotive has introduced two revolutionary fuel-tank systems that meet future global environmental standards," Laule said. Our technologists are always pushing the limits to bring the most innovative designs to our customers worldwide. Our new organization will provide each group the freedom and resources to continue the development of new products and improve existing ones."

         Howard Duxbury joined TI Group Automotive Systems in 1999 as managing director of its European operations. Previously he was president of European operations for Siebes automotive group and has a strong background in the manufacturing industry.

         Rich Kolpasky joined TI Automotive in 1993 with the companys Bundy Group, where he went on to hold a series of senior management positions, including business unit manager for TI Automotives General Motors account.

         Since joining TI Automotive in 1991, Stephen Dow has worked in several general management and commercial roles, including vice president and general manager of VARI-FORM and commercial vice president for North America.
