PRINCETON, NJ - Increasingly, key players in power generation are looking to Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as a viable option fueling energy demands for the future. The Oxford Princeton Programme, the worlds leading provider of full spectrum training solutions to the energy, commodity and derivatives industries, has developed an instructor-led workshop titled Introduction to LNG Processes, Markets and Business" exploring both the technical and commercial aspects of the LNG business.

As the current state of natural gas reserves are reaching historic lows, the market for LNG has heated up, as it becomes a viable option for abating the debilitating shortages. The workshop titled Introduction to LNG Processes, Markets and Business explores the timely topics such as the LNG 'Chain, the key market players and potential future participants, and the stages in LNG production, transportation and receiving functions along with capacity. The workshop will also include an introduction to LNG pricing and short-term LNG trading, incorporating an analysis of spot trades and swaps. As part of this one-day hands-on workshop, there are interactive exercises to reinforce the learned LNG chain from beginning to end as well as a LNG trading simulation.

Global market players are realizing the immense potential in using LNG as a source of future energy, but the key is to know what it takes to have a global market for LNG and to prepare for the eventual stumbling-blocks," comments Clara Lippert, President of The Oxford Princeton Programme. Fully grasping the LNG process, markets and business will be the key value in the future success of this energy source and with the knowledge found in this course we believe that organizations will be able to take giant leaps forward in this new market."

Introduction to LNG Processes, Markets and Business is a one-day workshop that is available through The Oxford Princeton Programmes schedule of courses found at www.oxfordprinceton.com. The workshop is also available as a fully customizable course for use on-site at any organization. As part of The Oxford Princeton Programmes blended learning package, this workshop has a specific web-based course that is recommended as pre-classroom study. Upon registering for the workshop, delegates will receive details of how to access the web-based course that is included in the cost of the workshop.
