Invited to Nations Capitol to Receive Award, Meet with Congressional Leaders

announced that the co-founder of ASTRALcom Internet Solutions, Richard Bergér, will be formally presented with the California 2003 Businessman of the Year award by the Presidential Business Advisory Commission in Washington, DC
next month.

Bergér, who was earlier appointed to The Presidential Business Commission as an Honorary Chairman from the State of California, received notice from the office of Congressman Tom Reynolds about the award. As an American

It gives me great pleasure and privilege to inform you that you will be presented as a Businessman of the Year from California," wrote Reynolds in an official communiqué to Bergér earlier this month.

Next month, in Washington, Bergér has been invited to attend a special Awards Presentation and to be interviewed on camera as an award recipient. Bergér was also invited to attend the 2003 Republican Gala and the Congressional Tax

Bergér, who is originally from Texas, has been active in the local community for many years, serving in various capacities to help enrich the local business community. He is the co-founder of Long Beach Culture.org and TechBeach.net and also serves on the Technology and Business Syndicate, Long Beach Alliance of Business Associations and has been a member of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Mayors Technology Advisory Committee.
