Childrens Health and Wellness Expo to be Held at
Cleveland Chiropractic College Campus on June 21

LOS ANGELES -- To enhance the health and wellness of children within its community, the Cleveland Chiropractic College Pediatric Club is sponsoring an all day event to educate parents and their families on the services of the Cleveland Health Center. The expo runs from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Cleveland Chiropractic College Campus, 590 N. Vermont (at Vermont and the 101 Freeway).

With childhood illnesses skyrocketing at an alarming rate and with prescription drug use and surgeries at an all time high, parents are looking for conservative and healthy solutions to todays health problems," said Heidi von Nacher, Cleveland Chiropractic College student and Pediatrics Club Vice President. We see this event as a way to connect parents and their children with health and wellness providers in one convenient location."

A variety of topics will be presented by pediatricians, chiropractors, yoga instructors and others, all with the common purpose of educating parents about a healthy and balanced approach to raising their children.

This health fair also serves to inform to the general population on chiropractics role beyond sore backs and necks," said Dr. Glenn Johnson, Professor in Chiropractic and Diagnostic Sciences for the Cleveland Chiropractic College. We are introducing how chiropractic affects the whole body, in this case little bodies. Even if just one child becomes a chiropractic patient and benefits from treatment, that makes this kind of event worthwhile."

The Cleveland Chiropractic Childrens Expo provides parents the opportunity for their children to receive free health screenings while the children can enjoy balloons, clowns, pony rides and more.
