B.D. Lenz: Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Contemporary Jazz guitarist B.D. Lenz signs with Apria Records and celebrates his new recording with a "CD Release Party" at Triumph Brewery in Princeton, NJ.

Contemporary jazz guitarist B.D. Lenz (http://bdlenz.com) and his group have just released their third recording entitled "Simple Life." This new recording marks a professional stepping stone for the band having just been SIGNED to the New York jazz label Apria Records (http://www.apriarecords.com).

The CD was recorded in 2002 and features members of Lenzs regular band: Geoff Mattoon (sax), James Rosocha (bass), Tom Cottone (drums), Joe Mekler (percussion) as well as special guests Brendan Buckley (drummer/writer with Shakira) and Greg Federico (drums) among others. SEALING his reputation as a master musician/composer, this CD features 10 original compositions with a melodic mixture of Jazz, funk, Latin, rock and even a short classical lullaby the Jersey native wrote for his daughter.     Lenz says," This recording is really a continuation of the music weve been making for the past 10 years but has become more refined in its composition, production, and performance."
