CUBAN PAINTER ORLANDO," MASTER OF "MAGICAL REALISM" OILS, AT EXCLUSIVE DC METRO/BALTIMORE RECEPTION (June 7-8) & EXHIBITION (continues to June 22), 2003.

The Hands of Time Art Gallery in Historic Savage Mill, Maryland, will host a meet-the-artist reception on June 7-8, 2003, for celebrated Cuban artist Orlando Raphael Quevedo, the nations proponent of the Magical Realism" style, as expressed in his original oil paintings and limited edition giclees (high resolution digital prints on canvas). The exhibition will continue until June 22, 2003. The public is invited; admission is free.

Savage/Laurel, Md. (PRWEB) May 30, 2003 -- The Hands of Time Art Gallery in Historic Savage Mill, Maryland, will host a meet-the-artist reception for celebrated Cuban artist Orlando Raphael Quevedo, the nations proponent of the Magical Realism" style, as expressed in his original oil paintings and limited edition giclees (high resolution digital prints on canvas). Orlando, 33, creates a delicate yet vibrant combination of colorful architectural interiors gently mixed with illusion. His canvasses are widely collected not only for their striking interior subjects but also for their remarkable depiction of memorable works of master artists.

A typical Orlando painting may include three or more representations of works by renowned artists such as Picasso, Chagall, Monet, Miro, Van Gogh, and Rembrandt.

The artist will be in attendance only during receptions on Saturday, June 7 (3-8 PM) and Sunday, June 8 (1-5 PM) for this featured collection of his new originals and giclees, exclusive to the Washington-Baltimore metro area, at the Hands of Time Art Gallery in Historic Savage Mill, 8600 Foundry Street, Savage, MD 20763. The collection will continue on exhibit through June 22, 2003.
