Harbour Hedge Switzerland announces New Member of the Advisory Board

Mr. Barnett joined Life & Annuity Services Ltd. (L&A) in November of 2002 to assume the position of Managing Director and Head of Sales and Marketing. L&A was formed in 1998 as a General Agent for the wholesale distribution of international life and annuity products and represents many of the world's most recognised insurance companies as well as niche companies to provide unique solutions for today's demanding client. The international insurance and annuity products that L&A distribute give the client access to more favorable pricing and provide tax advantages and a level of confidentiality not offered by domestic insurance carriers. L&A offers leveraged insurance programs as well as products that can wrap a number of alternative investments ranging from hedge funds to real estate. Prior to joining L&A, Mr. Barnett was with First International Capital, an investment banking firm that specialized in the formation and financing of insurance and reinsurance companies sponsored by alternative asset fund managers. In addition, Mr. Barnett raised equity capital for insurance start-ups as well as insurance related private equity funds. Prior to joining First International, Mr. Barnett ran a successful insurance practice for 5 years in Vancouver, B.C., Canada advising clients on a range of insurance and investment related products.
