American International Energy Corporation launched http://www.aienergy.com" target="_blank">aienergy.com as part of a new strategy to market drilling prospects to oil & gas producers. AIECs movement of their Prospect Summaries to the web allows for easy and quick access by interested parties. In the past, Prospect Summaries have been emailed or faxed. Both methods involved extra handling by AIEC and the recipient.
AIEC founder and President, C.P. (Pete) Schweikhardt said, Now we can simply provide our web address to prospective buyers. Many of them will already have the address from previous contact or from our printed materials. They can check the site any time for prospects that might fit their areas of interest. Then, interested parties can schedule a full presentation."
The internet is a great platform for a small independents to distribute information to big players. The cost to publish is relatively low. The information is public, searchable and updateable. Most acquisition teams already do a portion of their research online. Its important to us that our prospect information is included in that database."
