Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County, FL -- Youth ages 10-19 are getting ready to become the next generation of Floridian entrepreneurs this summer at the Biz School for Youth" Camps.

Participants in this program will spend 40+ hours in a five day camp embarking on an adventure into the business world, learning through a wide range of activities involving art, public speaking, technology, stock market analysis, business plan / seed capital competition, opening a bank account, and business simulations. Most of all, these novice business people will have the opportunity to start their very own business and sell a variety of products/services of their choice throughout their County under the supervision of the Ascend Youth Entrepreneurship International staff and in Broward and Palm Beach County, with their partner-FAU-CURE. Participants will also have the opportunity to make real money while learning and having fun at the same time!

The Biz School for Youth" Camp encourages young people to realize their own entrepreneurial spirit and the participants of this program do so with vigor only seen in our youth," said Guillermo Galazar, an adult entrepreneur from South Florida. Felipe Madrigal, former president of the Doral and Airport West Chamber of Commerce, added at the DAWCC, we sincerely believe that we have to foster entrepreneurial and self-sufficiency skills in our youth at an early age."

The Biz School for Youth" Camps (10-16 year olds) are scheduled for June 16-20 and June 23-27 at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, July 7-11 and July 14-18 at FAU-CURE in Ft. Lauderdale, July 21-25 and July 28-August 1 at FAU-CURE in Boca Raton for (13-19 year olds). The Biz School's" hours of operation will be from 9am-5pm with lunch provided for all participants. The investment fee for this five-day business experience and membership to a local Youth Chamber of Commerce is $325!
