February 7, 2003 (PRWEB) May 30, 2003 - Groovy Girl dolls which has hit frenzy on the US and Canadian toy scene has finally arrived in Singapore. Introduced in the US and Canada since 1991, the ever expanding Groovy Girls line has won recognition with US and Canadian toy authorities.
Hip, multicultural Groovy Girl dolls, designed to help build appreciation of both diversity and individuality were finalists for both the 2001 Girl Toy of the Year and Specialty Toy of the Year awards sponsored by the Toy Industry Association. In addition, the Groovy Style Lush Loft received the Hot Picks 2002 Toy Award, for imaginative Play from American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.
In July 2002, three new Groovy Girls dolls named Verity, Victoria, and Vanessa will bring their unique fashions to stores. Each 13-inch doll has her own personality and her own trendy outfit featuring a flag motif. At the same time, Manhattan Toy will introduce a fresh new line of funky, coordinated Groovy Gear¨ and deluxe Groovy Xtravaganzaª clothing ensembles in the latest fabrics and patterns.
New Groovy Accessoriesª include perfectly sized high-tech items such as fashionable laptop/personal organizer and mobile phone/CD player sets. The Groovy Styleª Beautiful Bed, one of many popular furnishings available for the dolls, gets a bright, updated look as well.
The fun doesn't stop with the girls and their toys, as Groovy Boys Kyle and Kalvin - also 13-inch dolls with their own individual styles - become available for mid-2002. The company is even introducing the latest of the Groovy Pets¨, a 15-inch-tall pony called Calypso Callie.
