G.L.Rockey's "must read" thriller novel, THE JOURNALIST, is now available in paperback. Set in 2008, the story takes place in a chaotic world of terrorism and failed global diplomacy. A dropout Jesuit, Zackary Stearn, along with a small staff of loyal employees, edits a Miami weekly--The Boca. Zack is skeptical of television news, organized religion, and politicians. He is especially leery of the President of the United States--Benjamin P. Armstrong, who seems bent on an "inspired" one-world design. Following a terrorist attack in Paris, a local Miami TV station breaks a shocking news video. The video (source unknown) puzzles Zackary. Skeptical, he with the help of a mysterious activist, Joe Case, piece together an insidious global plot.

By way of Carnegie Mellon Drama Department, Pittsburgh, G.L. Rockey graduated from Michigan State University and entered the television industry. He produced sundry programs and wrote scripts and proposals. Awarded a Master's degree, he taught at Cleveland State University. Rockey has published two other highly acclaimed works of fiction: TIME&CHANCE, a mystery/suspense novel, and "BATS IN THE BELFRY, BELLS IN THE ATTIC," a collection of sixteen short stories. A short story, What If, was published by Net Author's "E2K Journal." Rockey is a member of electronic writing groups EPIC and EPPRO. He resides in Ohio with wife Connie.
