Golf Club installs members lockers

Lockers have been installed at the Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club by Action Storage Direct for the benefit of club members.

This year Action Storage Systems installed steel lockers into the gentlemans and ladies members changing rooms at the Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club in Gloucestershire. The lockers were designed to accommodate clothing, footwear and golf bags. The lockers are finished with a hard wearing epoxy powder paint finish and the doors were colour coded between the ladies and gentlemens areas.

A simple cam lock key system is in operation. It has 2000 differs and protects adequately against break ins. The locker design incorporated benches which in this instance were fitted by the club but are available as an accessory.

Funding of these projects is always an issue, and Stinchcombe Hill came up with an effective method. Each locker is rented out to a member. Demand exceeded supply. Each locker has an annual rent. The member agrees to four years rental in advance. This advance payment covers the cost of the lockers. This was a financially painless way of improving the clubs facilities.
