TechTV Turns into PornTV?

TechTV, formerly a network about technology and computers, has turned into a porn loving network with little technical content.

TechTV, the only 24 hour cable network dedicated to technology, has started airing new programs with its daily lineup, like "Wired for Sex" which shows things not involving technology as we know it including "teledildonics", sex toys, and virtual sex. Not only that, this program airs at 9PM eastern, 6PM pacific. Another program, "Unscrewed with Martin Sargent", showcases the strange side of technology including sex machines, oral sex experts and oh so much more. This airs at 11PM eastern, 8PM pacific. (Again, primetime for the west coast)

"I'm a big fan of TechTV's hit shows "Call for Help", "Fresh Gear", "The Screen Savers" and "X-Play". All of these shows can appeal to the technology loving person, and there is a huge market. Slashdot showed this with its daily stats.", said Greg Hard, a long term fan of the REAL TechTV. "People don't turn on to techtv to see porn and the thunderbirds. They turn it on expecting what we used to see - technology".

Available in 40 million homes, more people would tune in if TechTV wised up to it's audience," he continued. "Once I thought there was an audience for this. TechTV thinks I am wrong, but I know I'm not. I'm just a fan, I want to see this stuff, and I know I'm not alone," he said. "In credit to techtv, they are showing less thunderbirds and are going to air a new inventions program soon," he added.

"There is a large group of us who want to see some GOOD stuff on techtv, technology. We don't want cartoons, celebrities and porn on TechTV. We want technology, and the executives don't get that fact"
