Toronto, Canada -- May 31,2003 -- Fresh from producing indie artists and creating major label remixes on spec for artists such as Sugar Ray, Craig David and Whitney Houston, indie producer/remixer Dav-o has formed an entirely organic rock band called Half A Halo. From his previous work with members of Savage Garden and producers of Mathew Good Band to producing a remix for Chris Vrenna (NIN), Dav-o formed Half A Halo to create the music he wasn't hearing.

Half A Halo are already recording their first 6 track EP due for release in September 2003,with Dav-o producing.

Half A Halo's music is self described as Jeff Buckley meets Pantera, fusing groove, riffs and lots of melody in an accessible rock format that would be at home on commercial radio. "I have always played in commercial bands, I think that has influenced the songwriting process. I also am very interested in the search for truth, so staying true to that while creating something accessible may very well be quite the challenge."
