"Creating an E-Business Strategy" Focus of Wisconsin eBusiness Forum Meeting on June 4
The Wisconsin eBusiness Forum (WeBF) will hold its next meeting at the offices of MANPOWER in Milwaukee on June 4 from 1:30.m. to 4:30 p.m. The June meeting will focus on the topic of creating and implementing an e-business strategy.
MILWAUKEE, WI - May 19, 2003 -The Wisconsin eBusiness Forum (WeBF) will hold its next meeting at the offices of MANPOWER in Milwaukee on June 4 from 1:30.m. to 4:30 p.m. The June meeting will focus on the topic of creating and implementing an e-business strategy.
Keynote speaker Thayre Vertelka, Senior Manager from Milwaukee-based management consulting firm Millennium Partners LLC, will discuss "E-Business Strategy: A Roadmap for Success." Ms. Vertelka's discussion will address such questions as: Are you ready for e-business? Should your company have a presence on the web? How could your company and/or your customers benefit from e-business initiatives? A sample roadmap for developing your own e-business strategy will be presented, including an overview of the steps necessary for assessing and developing an e-business strategy and plan. In her position at Millennium Partners, Ms. Vertelka currently provides services to the Journal Communications and each of their seven subsidiary companies in the selection of a payroll / HR solution that addresses the way they want to do business and the use information technology
Following the keynote speaker, a panel of professionals from companies such as We Energies, Johnsonville Sausage, Manpower Inc., and Millennium Partners will discuss how their businesses met the challenge of formulating and implementing an e-business strategy. The panel will also address questions from meeting attendees.
Annual WeBF elections will also be held during the June 4 meeting.
Registration for WeBF's June 4th meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the MANPOWER offices located at 5055 North Lydell in Milwaukee. A $10 per person meeting fee will be charged for members ($20 per person for non-members). Attendees are encouraged to pre-register via the WeBF website (www.webf.org), where details about WeBF's meetings, membership, sponsorship, and the WeBF's Officers and Board of Directors can be found.
