Janet Ritchie hails from the Boston area. She CO-founded the "Tcitizens For Tsongas" grassroots campaign for the late Senator Paul Tsongas in 1992 and worked for many years in the television industry. She also CO-founded "The Mind Factory, Inc." with her daughter Debbie, developing products that help children deal with childhood fears in a healthy and fun way. Their "Monsters Be Gone Original Bedtime Survival Kit" for children received national attention on ABC-TV's "Rosie O'Donnell Show" in June 2000 and enjoys national retail distribution. Singing sensation Mandy Moore starred in the video "Monsters Be Gone." Janet currently resides in Orlando, Florida and is currently producing plaques and greeting cards featuring her writing.
