A DREAM COME TRUE AT 61

"FIELD OF ANGELS" NOW AVAILABLE IN BOOK STORES AND ON BOOK SITES

ORLANDO, FL - Field of Angels is published by 1stBooks, a leading provider of print-on-demand and eBook publishing.

Field Of Angels written by Janet Ritchie is a testament to the personal trials, tribulations, and sometimes wild and comical adventures she has had the unique opportunity to experience during her lifetime. One of the poems in the book, which she wrote for her sister and soul mate, was transformed into an inspirational song. The song is appropriately titled "My Angel" and is on the Let There Be Love compilation charity CD. After posting several poems including "My Angel" on several websites she received almost 100,000 hits and over 3,000 e-mails.

Throughout the ages, poetry exists in many forms and is a venue for expression, communication, enlightenment, entertainment and soul-searching. Field of Angels represent a few of life's lessons that will stir remembrances of good things somehow lost or long forgotten. Each story in the book reflects a life experience that, in some cases, took many years to fully understand or appreciate. Be prepared to laugh with great joy, perhaps shed a tear, even be angered and outraged, but most of all, prepare to remember all the goodness in the tapestry of life that so easily gets lost in living.

Ritchie will take you where you want to go. She may also take you where you may not want to be, but being there will remind you how much better off you are/or could be. It certainly reminds me of how we all change and how change, the only consistency in this life, can shape our lives. The entire spectrum of human emotion is here, in a delightful, sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes painful, procession. With the skill of a craftsman, Ritchie writes from her heart and each poem is accompanied by the true experience that inspired it.

Janet Ritchie hails from the Boston area. She CO-founded the "Tcitizens For Tsongas" grassroots campaign for the late Senator Paul Tsongas in 1992 and worked for many years in the television industry. She also CO-founded "The Mind Factory, Inc." with her daughter Debbie, developing products that help children deal with childhood fears in a healthy and fun way. Their "Monsters Be Gone Original Bedtime Survival Kit" for children received national attention on ABC-TV's "Rosie O'Donnell Show" in June 2000 and enjoys national retail distribution. Singing sensation Mandy Moore starred in the video "Monsters Be Gone." Janet currently resides in Orlando, Florida and is currently producing plaques and greeting cards featuring her writing. As only she can say in her own, inimitable way, "Only you can make the impossible--possible. Never give up on your dreams." You'll find her poetry a road map of your heart.
