New Internet browser makes online shopping just like shopping in a real store

Colorado based e-commerce firm, Code Beyond, has just introduced a new internet browser that combines the convenience of online shopping with the experience of shopping in a real store. The browser which can be downloaded for FREE, is called Shoppe and is primarily targeted at consumers with high speed access.

The browser is called Shoppe and is primarily targeted at consumers with broadband access. Shoppe is free to download.

Shoppe will allow many consumers to extend their online shopping beyond books, music, DVDs and software. Consumers using Shoppe walk around a store, pick up products they are interested in and view it from all sides before deciding to buy. This experience is similar to shopping in a real store. In future releases consumers will be able to talk to the salesperson or other consumers before making a purchase. Another consumer benefit is security. Shoppe is highly secure because it is built on top of Netscape Navigator. Netscape pioneered Internet security. Each e-retailer within Shoppe has a personal relationship with Code Beyond. Consumer complaints can be directed to Code Beyond, who can remove the e-retailer from Shoppe. This setup eliminates imposters and holds each e-retailer accountable to the consumer.
