Westan becomes newsest member of the Scanlon Leadership Network

Westan, of Westfield, PA has been accepted into the membership of the nonprofit Scanlon Leadership Network.

Westan, founded in 1867, has become the newest member of the Scanlon Leadership Network.

Westan's Scanlon Program is called "Steer". Westan employees working with the Scanlon approved consulting firm of Ray Terwilliger & Associates participatively designed the program which was recently presented to the Governor of Pennsylvania.

The State of Pennsylvania has awarded a grant to Westan, in part based on the Steer Program and Westan's efforts to create a high performance work culture.

The Scanlon Leadership Network's members pioneered open-book management, employee involvement, gainsharing, and servant leadership concepts in business. The Network collects and shares best practices.
