CXR TELCOM APPOINTS DANIEL BURCH TO HEAD SALES OF CENTRAL REGION

Executive to Direct Sales in the Central U.S. Region

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (PRWEB) June 4, 2003 Microtel International, Inc. (OTC BB: MCTL), an international manufacturer of telecommunications equipment and electronic components, through its subsidiary - CXR Telcom - today announced that it has appointed Daniel B. Burch to head sales in the Central Region. Burch, who will report directly to CXR Telcom president Kevin Haug, will be responsible for leading the companys sales in the central U.S.

Burch joins CXR Telcom from GTE/Verizon Communications, where he served in numerous roles including craft, engineering, and management, most recently as National Manager-Digital Services & Data Support. He has also participated in international standards bodies and is a featured speaker at industry events worldwide.
