AiTS Approved for General Services Administration MOBIS Contract

Award Increases Range of Contract Vehicles AiTS Offers Federal Government

RESTON, Va. (PRWEB) June 5, 2003 -- AiTS was recently awarded a multi-year GSA Management, Organization, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) contract that will enable the company to better assist government agencies in improving their management and organizational effectiveness by streamlining the procurement process for AiTS' IT solutions. The award of this contract recognizes AiTS' qualification to provide services to a wide range of government agencies, especially in the areas of homeland security, defense, and transportation systems. With the addition of the MOBIS contract, the range of contract vehicles that AiTS offers federal government agencies has expanded significantly. Other contract vehicles available through AiTS include the GSA Information Technology schedule and IBM's MMAD-I contract with the U.S. Army.

Streamlined Procurement Vehicle GSA contracts offer a streamlined procurement vehicle that significantly reduces contracting time. The GSA has reviewed vendors' capabilities, negotiated rates, and pre-qualified vendors to provide products and services. According to James Bogaty, Vice President and COO of AiTS, "Under the MOBIS contract, AiTS will provide consulting, program integration and project management services for government customers worldwide. These services include process and systems improvement, business process engineering, change implementation, strategic and business planning and performance management." Improving Management and Organizational Effectiveness "Being awarded this contract gives AiTS a great opportunity to strengthen our existing relationships with federal clients and to expand the range of agencies that we support. We look forward to being a partner in the federal government's efforts to improve its management and organizational effectiveness," continued Mr. Bogaty. "AiTS is extremely pleased with being selected to perform under this contract. The company has extensive experience within all areas of the contract. Award of this contract ensures that current and future AiTS public and private sector clients are provided with access to the latest technology and high quality services while realizing the benefit of shorter lead-times, lower administrative costs and significant opportunities to meet business goals."
