What's on the site this month
The site is updated every 6 weeks, to reflect a key issue or emerging trend for CSR where innovation can be achieved. This month's update explores how regeneration, social inclusion and the sustainable communities agendas can provide new sources of innovation for business.
Features that are regularly updated include:
Expert View: this month we explore what makes for a "winning company", as described by the DTI and CBI. What are the drivers and barriers for innovation? How can regeneration and social inclusion act as a driver for innovation and new ways of doing business? This article looks at these questions in the light of Article 13's own research.

Best Practice case studies: these case studies are chosen to give the reader a feel for how organisations are practically engaging with the emerging trend or issue we are exploring. This month we review:
- Tesco, a leading retailer, has developed a profitable new business model to allow it to expand into communities characterised by social and economic deprivation. With 2,200 jobs created, Tesco has also seen several business benefits accrue to the stores developed through this scheme.
- Centro, a transport provider in the West Midlands, has found the participative process it used to address a key issue for the local community - getting more people into jobs - provided new sources of information to inform its business planning.
- Buy as you View Ltd is a smaller scale retailer, operating in South Wales. The company is playing an important and active role in education in its local community.
