Acartus Accepted Into Sun iForce Partner Program, Emphasizes Solaris Platform
Acartus has partnered with iForce to aggressively offer ERM/COLD products to users of the Solaris platform.
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) June 7, 2003 -- Acartus announced today that it has been accepted into the Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW - News) iForce Partner Program, which provides joint marketing programs targeted to new and existing Sun Solaris customers. Acartus specializes in business transaction management software that delivers a single archive platform for line-of-business print streams, XML transactions, and high volume scanned images.
In business since 1992, the companys solutions have historically been Windows based. With the release of ApertureONE last December, Acartus is now targeting enterprise applications where many customers prefer Sun Solaris for the server operating system.
Running ApertureONE on the Solaris platform will increase its scalability, allowing us to address the needs of larger organizations that generate a much higher volume of transactions" said Brad Florin, CEO of Acartus. We see the iForce Partner Program as key to reaching Sun customers that are interested in consolidating their legacy archival systems into a single comprehensive solution. Having Solaris platform support also opens up the opportunity to add high end Enterprise Content Management vendors to our family of integration partnerships."
ApertureONE is an end-user focused solution that facilitates business transaction management. These transactions can be as diverse as enterprise reports, computer generated invoices, credit memos and statements, and transactional data in XML or SQL format. Enterprise transactions are generated by line-of-business systems that range from in-house developed software to packages from ERP/CRM vendors including Baan, J.D. Edwards, Onyx, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Siebel and SAP.
Acartus joins existing iForce content management partners including Documentum (Nasdaq: DCTM - News), FileNet (Nasdaq: FILE - News), Open Text (NASDAQ: OTEX - News; TSX:OTC - News) and Vignette (Nasdaq: VIGN - News).
ApertureONE for Solaris is scheduled to be generally available in Q3 2003. ApertureONE is a trademark of Acartus, Inc.
