Local Entrepreneur and Previous Owner of Multi-Million Dollar COPYCO/Toshiba Steve Staller Starts Again with Docutek Imaging Solutions
Third-time successful entrepreneur is at it again. Former COPYCO CEO has now started Docutek Imaging Solutions.
Boca Raton, FL-Local entrepreneur, Mr. Steve Staller, is at it again. The previous founder and president of COPYCO/Toshiba retired in the late 90s, but after much encouragement by old customers and friends, Staller decided to come out of retirement and once again build a business. Staller found Docutek Imaging Solutions in 2001.
I wanted to start a company again that was built on my simple philosophy of success: Take great care of your customers. Take great care of your employees. Business will grow and take care of itself," said Staller.
Docutek Imaging Solutions is a Boca Raton headquartered office equipment company that specializes in the latest digital technology.
When Docutek opened in Boca Raton, many of Stallers previous customers and employees from COPYCO followed him to his new venture. They believed in Stallers ideas and his way of operating a business. He is, nonetheless, a third-time successful entrepreneur.
Staller also founded Executive Office Systems, an office equipment company in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He sold that business in the mid 1980s and moved his family to Boca Raton. Staller then founded another office equipment company named COPYCO. Ever since he founded COPYCO, the companys growth was truly impressive; it was rated one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the country according to INC. magazine in 1992.
Coming out of retirement, Staller is at it again, for the third time. Staller and his team plan to grow Docutek to be the premier company for digital office equipment solutions in South Florida through their use of KYOCERA/Mita products. KYOCERA/Mita is one of Fortunes 100 fastest growing companies. Also a recent expansion of the Boca Raton headquarters to 19,000 square feet has tripled its size and sales continue to grow. Docutek also has a Miami office, making them very accessible.
When I sold my previous company in the late 1990s, I thought the future of our industry might belong to the giant manufacturers and conglomerates. I was wrong. Now all across the country many of my old friends are starting over again to fill the need for personalized service the way only privately owned, entrepreneurial, locally focused office equipment dealerships can provide. South Florida businesses are looking for a company with new, reliable, and cutting edge products as well as great service to back them and Docutek plans to be that company."
