Both ladies are firmly rooted in the community, with their homes, their churches and their other salons located in Henry County.

Serenity's mission is to provide a luxurious atmosphere that usher's one into the presence of their inner-self (God). Through regular sessions at Serenity, one can learn to develop dialogue with their inner-self, and eventually learn to go to this place deep within at anytime.

"We stepped out on faith in undertaking this calling, but we are committed to our mission of ushering people into the presence of God," say co-owner, Cynthia Fort.

"Regardless of how busy we are, we must carve out time for solitude. It is our duty to seek God's wisdom, which can only be found in the serenity of solitude," says co-owner Elizabeth Thibodeaux.
