AMERICA'S YOUNGEST SWAMI HAILS FROM ARIZONA
Swami Da Prem is ready for upcoming talk
GLENDALE, Az. - Swami Da Prem, America's Youngest Swami, who will be giving his maiden speech on June 19th, is a Arizona native who calls Glendale, Arizona his home city. Swamiji will be addressing the citizens of Glendale and other local cities at the Glendale Public Library Main Branch at 7 PM on Thursday, June 19th. In 1980, as a young child, Swamiji moved with his mother to the Tempe area, and a few years later found himself on the westside of town. Da Prem attended Centennial High School in Peoria, and considers this side of town his home, where he grew up.
Swami Da Prem became the youngest American Swami in the history of Sanatana Dharma on May 12th, 2002 when his guru, Sat-Guru Da Brahman-Atmananda ordained him as a Swami in the Philippine International Order of Universalist Swamis. He actively teaches Brahm Dhyan - a free meditation technique, gives counseling and initiates seekers into Brahman-Atman Yoga in his guru's behalf.
His upcoming talk is a once in a lifetime event as Swamiji will address his first crowd of over 200 people publicly about such topics as enlightenment, the meaning of life, why we exist and the ancient science of Brahman-Atman Yoga.
