ZAPPO.COM Launches Web Based Zappo! Mail

Zappo.com offers free web based mail with spam filtering and no banner or pop up advertising.

Zappo.com, the web directory and search engine, now offers a non-advertising web based mail service. Zappo! Mail provides users with a direct and logical interface free of both banner and pop up advertising. Zappo! Mail features include spam filters, HTML mail, an address book, mail folders, auto-reply and mail forwarding, spell check and custom signatures.

Zappo! Mail discourages spammers by limiting the number of addresses allowed in the combined to, cc and bcc address fields. Additionally, Zappo! Mail administrators ban subscribers who abuse the mail services. For its users, Zappo! Mail allows incoming address filtering that can be applied to just one address or the domain level. Mailboxes are presently limited to 5 mb in combined folder contents.
