LongBeachOnLine.net has been serving the local Long Beach community for several years as a hub for web resources relevant to Long Beach, California. It features an extensive Long Beach focused database and search engine, which is designed specifically to showcase the websites of Long Beach news agencies, businesses and entertainment venues, as well as local schools, artists and organizations. It is a free service.

It also features a community message and announcement board with links to other special-topic Long Beach message boards and links to numerous local calendars administered by the many diverse organizations found in Long Beach.

One of the sites most popular sections is the Kids Stuff" page, which lists numerous websites popular among children and teens -- free games, educational activities and fun! The Frankie Fun Scale" ranks sites for fun and education. (Frankie is the daughter of the site operator, Lorenzo Gigliotti.)

The Golden Web Awards is presented by The International Association of Web Masters and Designers to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.
