Summer Safety for Children - Child Danger Awareness -- Free Seminar for Area Children
Auburn (PRWEB) June 8, 2003 -- In 1999, 2,100 children were reported missing every day. (Source: National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 2000). Every day we read or hear of another child that has gone missing. McCoys Action Karate announces that it is sponsoring a FREE seminar Saturday June 21, 2003 on Summer Safety for Children -- Child Danger Awareness, part of Black Belt Schools of Americas Kids Smart Program. Both schools will offer this FREE 45 minute class for children age 5 to 12 that live in or near the areas that there 2 schools serve. The class will include safety tips to help prevent abduction, some physical techniques to aid in escape, and an active course in development of danger awareness. All attendees will not only take the class, but their parents will receive a written summary of Action Karates Top Ten Summer Safety Tips for Children.

We include 'Stranger Danger in all of our childrens classes, but the recent increase in child safety in our area has prompted us to give back to our communities in our area of expertise."
