GOERING ISERIES SOLUTIONS RELEASES ENHANCED AS400 DATA PORTABILITY TOOL. Flagship product has new features added.

Goering iSeries Solutions today announce that they have released an update of their flagship tool, iExcelGen, AS400 native software that facilitates exporting of Data from the AS400 to MS-Excel. Goering iSeries Solutions has listened to their customers and has added the most suggested enhancements: * Support for files with more then 65.000 records, * eMail-List feature * eMail-Notify * Spool-Splitter now supports multiple line reports * Dbase Output optional upgrade (50%)

iExcelGen offers users the ability to create a MS-Excel file and then have that file automatically emailed to a list of receipients,( i.e. A weekly sales report, without having to manually download the data, import it into MS-Excel, manually attach the XLS file, and then still have to enter the intended receipients into an email.) A customer can configure iExcelGen to send emails containing the XLS files using their own SMTP server. Commands can be executed either on the command line or in batch. With the Spool add-on, formatting future reports is a one time setup of the spool file.

iExcelGen and the spool add-on, along with iGetExcel, provide customers a highly effective channel for uploading and downloading AS400 data with a minimum number of steps. Programmers can facilitate reporting and data capturing w/ an easy to build and maintain interface that their users are comfortable with.

iExcelGen is available on a per-machine basis. No per-seat" licensing is needed. Pricing is based on the Model and processor, allowing smaller companies to afford the same functionality as their larger counterparts.
