Document attachment feature added to EDM, change notice software.

Now it is possible to attach any document to an engineering change with EDM. The ability to easily attach supporting documents to changes increases the communication and exchange of important information

June 9, 2003, Focus Computing announces the introduction of document attachment features to its powerful EDM software suite. Now it is possible to attach any document to a change request. Adding the ability to attach supporting documents to a change greatly increases the timely exchange of important information.

The attached documents are placed on the network server and ensure that each team member views the same document. No longer will people have to hunt for spreadsheets, or other supporting documents when they review a change notice. This ensures a more streamlined review and approvals process. Also the amount of physical paper is reduced, as the entire change process can now finally be paperless.

This feature is a free upgrade to existing EDM users and is available now. A free demo of EDM, included document attachment, is available on our website, www.edm-concepts.com.

EDM engineering change notice software is a revolutionary leap forward in design change documentation. For more details please see our press release;
