“The Wizdom approach to training is very systematic and practical”, said Mr. McChange, TRA Director of Information Systems “The best part of the seminar was “the various real life situations in the application of BPR presented during the training”. Wizdom provides Business Process Reengineering Training to Tanzania Revenue Authority (PRWEB) June 11, 2003

Naperville, IL (PRWEB) June 9, 2003 - Wizdom recently completed three weeks of intensive training to Operations Executives and Information Systems personnel of the Tanzania Revenue Authority in Business Process Reengineering (BPR), the Wizdom Minerva Methodology, Performance Measurement and Activity Based Costing (ABC). The course was conducted on site in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

“The Wizdom approach to training is very systematic and practical”, said Mr. McChange, TRA Director of Information Systems “The best part of the seminar was “the various real life situations in the application of BPR presented during the training”. The TRA is embarking on a long term project to become the model of efficiency and effectiveness in performing all aspects of its responsibility.

“I was told that this training is the first of its kind presented in Sub Saharan Africa,” said Dennis E. Wisnosky, who personally performed the three weeks of intensive hands on training sessions, “I was most impressed with the participation and attentiveness of the entire group”. “My goal was to form a team with knowledge, skills and desire to succeed in transforming the TRA to world class in the next 5 years”.

Given that course evaluations included superlatives such as “absolutely amazing”, “quite phenomenal”, and “excellent” – it is clear that Wisnosky accomplished his mission.

According to Dr. McGee. The seminar, “will save months of discussion of what BPR is and how it should be done”. “No enterprise should be without it”.

Wizdom was selected to perform this training based upon its nearly two decades of international experience in presenting hands-on, and web based training to companies and governments in Australia, Slovakia, Belgium, Mexico, Poland, England, Germany, Italy, Canada and the USA.

The Wizdom Seminar was based on BPR Wizdom – a Practical Guide to BPR Project Management, Wizdom’s Five Star rated “How To” BPR text supported by custom modules which included such topics as:

·    Performance Cell Technique (PCT)

·    Activity Based Management (ABM)

·    Unified Modeling Language (UML)

·    Human Factors in Change Management

·    The Six Principles of a Process Based Organization

During the training the TRA Team proved the ability to handle tasks ranging from agreement on a 5 year vision, to the details of creating Process Models with performance properties, Data Models with business rules and translation of this analysis into financial, technology and business plans necessary to achieve the TO-BE vision.

Most importantly said Dennis, “I became a friend to some really good people”.
