EverReach Logistics China Logistics Service Enhanced with EDI Partnership

EverReach Logistics in Shanghai China has partnered with Owens Direct, a low-cost web-based EDI subscription service. The partnership allows for direct shipment of orders from China to large US retailers such as Walmart.

Companies that manufacture and source in China and subsequently sell to US retailers typically require a U.S. west coast warehouse to perform consolidation, storage, labeling, sorting, packaging, and other services. Our objective is to help our clients significantly reduce supply chain costs by performing the same value added services in China.

With the help of Owens Direct, EverReach can now download EDI orders directly into our barcode printer, allowing us to apply UCC128 barcode labels in our China warehouse, or at that customer's factory. Subsequently, we can manage the customer's other inbound and outbound EDI documents, receive goods into our warehouse, consolidate and package, and arrange shipment with our freight forwarding partner, thus providing them with a single point of contact for their China supply chain.

The partnership helps small and medium sized manufacturer's increase competitive advantage, both in terms of an inexpensive and easy to use EDI solution, and in reduced logistics costs.
