Bird in the Hand" and other recent work reveals the extensive talent of artist Carla Stetson.

Included in the show are mixed media works on paper, with colorful, mythological imagery. This exhibit will be on display from June 12 - August 17, 2003. The public is invited to an artists reception on Friday June 27th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The summer gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday 12 - 6:00 pm. Carla has been commissioned for several public sculptures in Duluth including the peace sculpture Arising" in Lake Place park, and is currently completing the Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial: Public Art/Community Healing which will be installed in downtown Duluth this summer. Bird in the Hand also includes a model of the Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial. The north shores newest art gallery / bed & breakfast, j pepper inn has two rooms available for overnight stays and is located at 243 Riverview St Knife river, MN.
