Cycle from country to coast in Cycle For Sight Seaweed Challenge!
The SeeAbility Cycle For Sight Seaweed Challenge - Surrey/Sussex cycle ride on Sunday 22nd June.
'Your mission should you choose to take it... is to cycle to the sunny seaside shores of Worthing in Sussex and bring back the biggest piece of seaweed you can find to Surrey countryside hills of Leatherhead!
Starting from the SeeAbility's campus in Reigate Road, Leatherhead, Surrey at 10am on Sunday 22nd June, this is a fun cycle ride that will take you down to the Worthing coast, where you will need to search the shingle shore for the biggest piece of seaweed, before heading back to Leatherhead in Surrey for a well earned rest and a celebratory BBQ.
You can choose to be a Flying Fish or a Flounder depending on your level of fitness. The Flying Fish will cycle the full distance there and back, a total of 80 miles. The Flounders will be taken to Worthing, and will cycle the 40 miles back to Leatherhead.
The Seaweed Challenge is an attractive ride with plenty of 'watering holes to quench the thirst and rest the legs along the way.
Why not join us for an energetic and enjoyable day, there will be plenty of laughs and you could be the winner of the first Cycle For Sight Seaweed Challenge The entry fee for this ride is just 15 in advance or 20 on the day, all that is asked is that you raise as much sponsorship money as you can for a very worthy cause."
