Eulara Corporation Teams with Siberian Technologies, V.A.S. to Develop New Products Using RAPAN Salt

RAPAN, a Therapeutic Salt Mineral from Siberia, to Debut Soon in Eulara U.S. Skincare Products Seattle -- June 10, 2003 -- Eulara, a developer of natural skincare products based on proprietary blends of essential oils from medicinal plants, and Siberian Technologies V.A.S., the only producer of RAPAN natural mineral salt, have partnered to develop therapeutic skincare products based on the healing properties of the RAPAN salt.

RAPAN, a natural product of Siberia, is a complex mineral salt from an ancient Siberian Arctic lake. Scientists have shown that the medicinal effects of RAPAN salt are up to 20 times stronger than those of the well known Dead Sea Salt, and that it is much less costly.

The objective of the partnership is to develop a line of natural mineral salt products for broad applications in human health beyond skin care. The partners also plan to develop RAPAN salt products for the management of chronic inflammation and arthritic pain. The RAPAN mineral salt will be used initially to develop products for managing common inflammatory skin conditions through a line of personal skin care products, including topical lotions and ointments under the Eulara brand name. Eulara plans to introduce several new topical products using the RAPAN salt by the end of the year. The products will be available in the U.S., as well as in Siberia and the Far East.
