ARLINGTON, VA (PRWEB) June 16, 2003 -- June 6th marked a proud day for The Science Advisory Board as it reached, then surpassed, its 15,000 member goal. This now places The Science Advisory Board in the ranks as one of the highest populated scientific organizations. The number was obtained after various recruitment events and efforts, including the addition of new features and content on the website.

Members of The Science Advisory Board are part of a virtual community of life science and medical professionals that regularly express their opinions about the tools and technology of the life sciences industry. These opinions-as obtained through Science Advisory Board-sponsored studies-have significant influence in shaping the production and development of products in the life sciences industry.

Everyone in the medical and life science community has opinions to share about the tools and techniques of their profession. The Science Advisory Board is the forum to facilitate this sharing be it through expressing opinions in an online study, writing a product review or participating in a discussion forum.

Since 1997, The Science Advisory Board has become a central hub of biomedical and life science information on the Internet. This information includes profiles of scientists and medical professionals in the Member Spotlight column; book, website and product reviews; discussions on science, medical and policy issues in the Discussion Forum; editorials on cutting-edge or controversial topics in the Perspectives column; and job and curricula vitae postings.

The Science Advisory Board makes all of these avenues of information sharing-plus many more-not only possible, but also easy and rewarding. Some of these rewards include professional networking, exclusive previews of new technologies, consulting opportunities with The Science Advisory Board, and access to a vast array of employment resources.
