Now in Bloom. New Gardening Site -- www.backyard-habitat.com -
offers Full Bouquet of Books and other Products For the Avid Gardener.

DATELINE: BEAVERTON, OR, ISSUED JUNE 14, 2003
This seed has sprouted. And fellow gardeners are encouraged to enjoy the harvest.

A new and expansive website -- www.backyard-habitat.com -
offer full bouquet of books and other products for the avid gardener. Backyard Habitat is a bountiful resource for natural landscaping" and organic gardening".

This is a 'how to do it site for gardeners and landscapers who want to create their own design planning and do their own gardening and landscape plantings," notes Tony LeMay, founder of the fertile website and life-long gardener. Backyard-Habitat.com is based in Beaverton, OR just outside of Portland, OR.

The site is a cornucopia for gardeners who seek to create an outdoor environment that is fun, safe, and interesting. Another aspect of the site outlines how to attract wildlife -- from birds, bats, butterflies, frogs and toads, deer, or others -- to your yard.

Additionally, there are resources for composting basics, edible landscaping, and organic gardening.

ABOUT BACKYARD-HABITAT.COM
Tony LeMay, the founder and president of Backyard Habitat, formerly a Norwegian bachelor farmer", has been an organic gardener since the early 1970s.

He grew up on his grandparents farm in rural Central Wisconsin with his parents and brother and sister. Together they planted several thousand conifers, several hundred walnut, butternut, and oak trees, many dozens of multiflora roses, and numerous other plantings.

Tony started work on his college degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, and eventually completed it at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.

He now lives and gardens in Oregon with his lovely, brilliant and strong woman wife and their above average" twins. He continues to work at the Beaverton City Library, where he has been a member of the Circulation Staff since 1986.
