FOR RELEASE

CAMBRIDGE, Mass (PRWEB) June 16, 2003 -- Reservoir Partners, an innovative, end-user focused Relationship Management Research & Strategy firm, today announced the immediate availability of three new research reports covering critical areas of customer-facing business strategy and
CRM technology.

Reservoir Partners research methodology combines in-depth industry interviews, surveys and case studies with the firms deep domain expertise in CRM. Each report provides actionable recommendations for technology investors, as well as both users and vendors of CRM, Web Services, and other customer-facing technologies.

Chris Selland, Reservoir Partners' Founder and Managing Director, is a Chairman of DCI's industry-leading CRM Conference series as well as an advisory board member for CRM Magazine.    Selland will be available for media interviews at the upcoming DCI CRM conferences in Boston (June 18-20) and New York City (August 26-28). During the conferences he will present a number of topics covered in Reservoir Partners new reports, including CRM and Web Services, plus related topics including Mid-Market CRM and overall market trends. To request an interview, please contact Chris directly at (617) 613-1609 or cselland@reservoirpartners.com.

Reservoir Partners first report, Beyond the Hype: The Impact of Web Services on CRM, discusses how and why CRM is likely to be at the front lines of Web Services adoption for most enterprises, and analyzes the critical technologies and business issues underlying this shift. It describes the technologies underlying Web Services, and the existing markets, which will be both positively and negatively affected. In particular, the report looks at the market for integration technology, and how XML-based Web Services will both commoditize the technology while enhancing the ability of companies to integrate CRM with other systems and strategies across the organization. This report was originally published in April 2003.

The second report, CRM Consolidation - Enterprise Software R.I.P.?, looks at the underlying reasons for the consolidation taking place in the Enterprise Software market. The report predicts who the long-term CRM market leaders will be. Although this report was originally published in May 2003, much of its focus is centered on the underlying factors driving CRM market consolidation, including the activities currently taking place between Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Siebel Systems and others. The foundation of the report is Reservoir Partners CRM Survivability index, which predicts leading providers ability to survive in a consolidating market.

The most recent report, Next-Generation Self-Service, published this month, looks at the drivers of self-service adoption in customer support operations, and dissects and evaluates the various
technology offerings that promise companies the ability to better help their customers help themselves. It provides detailed perspective and models for companies seeking ROI benchmarks to evaluate the value of self-service and where and when it fits their support models.

"We have developed our research to provide a critical look at both macro and micro factors affecting Relationship Management strategies and CRM technologies, and as both a foundation for and complement to our consulting services," notes Selland. My goal in building Reservoir Partners is to combine the insight of a top-notch analyst firm with the hands-on engagement model necessary to create real results for our clients. We focus on one thing, and one thing only - how technology can positively affect Customer Relationships."

Reservoir Partners first trio of Research Reports is the first in an ongoing series. Reservoir Partners is currently researching a number of upcoming reports including Hosted CRM, Marketing Technology and Outbound Marketing Services.
