Do you have a cache of 35mm slides in a box or on a shelf somewhere?

As the baby boomer generation matures and technology rapidly accelerates, many are faced with the challenge of what to do with 35mm slides. Scanners are expensive and often very time consuming. One person faced with the challenge devised a unique, quick and inexpensive solution to converting those slides into digital format...Slide-To-Photo.

After his parents passed away, Bob Donner found himself in possession of family history and memories in the form of hundreds of 35mm slides. Family members looked to him to find a way to capture and share them. "I tried scanners, but they were slow and tedious", said Bob. "I did not want to send the slides out for conversion and risk losing them. Our budget was tight. So, I developed a new device that enabled quick, easy scanning for under $50."
The device, Slide-To-Photo, works in conjunction with a carousel slide projector and digital camera to preview and quickly (less than 3 seconds) capture the images you want to keep. The device has been used by a number of people ranging from professional photography to hobbyists to novices. One customer, frustrated with the time consumption of her newly purchased scanner, decided to return the scanner she purchased and to use Slide-To-Photo.

Leslie T, a Slide-To-Photo user, captured the essence of the product's value in her recent comments to the staff: "Not only can I now quickly, easily and inexpensively capture these images, I can actually plan a social gathering around the slide preview. The whole process becomes fun!"
